OUR FACILITIES

Brookfield Retreat brings the Palm Springs vibe to Brisbane! The huge single story property is similar in style to Frank Sinatra’s Twin Palms home and is a grand size of approximately 750sq metres. Located down a delightful quiet lane in inner Brookfield and surrounded by a few other acreage properties, we provide sanctuary to kangaroos, possums, birds and other wildlife.
Enjoy the retro Games Room with Bar and tornament sized Billiards Table, Cinema Room, Indoor Heated Spa, large deep Pool, oversized Loung Room, modern Kitchen, 9 Bedrooms, the Studio, Firpit, indoor log burning Fireplace, Acreage, Pavillian and more. Please note our maximum occupancy is for 16 guests only.
A throw back from the 70's, the wonderful indoor heated spa is very relaxing
Indoor Heated Spa
The heated spa is so relaxing and a favourite with many of our guests. The large marble bathroom really takes you back to the 70's and is equipped with a shower, kids bath and separate toilet.
Within the main bathroom, is a private closed door toilet
Additional Bathroom Facilities
Witin the main bathroom, there is an additinal enclosed bathroom with toiliet, sink and bidet which also doubles up as a change room after a spa and shower. Adjacent to the main shower.
As well as the shower in the main bathroom, there is a further shower just outside the main bathroom
Seperate Shower
The seperate shower is ideal when hosting a large group of guests and is seperate to the main bathroom which also includes a shower, kids bath, the spa and a toilet. Opposite Beddroom 5.

The veranda runs parallel to the main lounge lounge, kitchen and family dining space
Outside Entertainment area
The veranda runs down the side of the main lounge / dining area, kitchen and family dining area, leading to the pool. A BBQ is available for use.
The big old pool is 3 metres deep up the deep end.
Poolside
As everyting in the house, the pool is larger than most residential pools. It is 3 meters deep up the deep end and about 1 meter deep up the shallow end.
With some lovely old trees, our property hosts wildlife of all sort.
Gardens
The beautiful property sits in the middle of 2.5 acres and is home to wildlife around the area. We try to keep the internal grass green and well maintained, however in the dryer months the grass does dry out.

Pavillion
The Pavillion (or is it a Bali Hut or Gazibo?) is used for Retreats, Wedding Photography, Yoga or simply to sit and relax in. Water, electricity, lights, fishponds and sometimes possums in this space.
The firepit is in the garden behind the pool area and near the Bali Hut
Firepit
Toasting marshmellows or facilitating a burning cerimony, the firepit is always a hit with our guests. Be sure to check fire regulations before using the firepit and familiarise yourself with the hose location.
The Studio is available for those that book this option. It includes Table Tennis, extra TV, Sofas, Toilet and additional lounge room space
Studio
The Studio is a 50sq metres of additional space for Workshops, Meetings, Retreats and Bridal Wedding Preperation. Aircon and toilet included in this space.
The Brookfield Retreat Annex runs parallel to the length of the Studio. An additional Toilet and Fridge is located in the Annex
Studio Annex
The Annex is adjacent to the Studio and is sperated by a wall and windows, with visibility into the Studio. May be used as a Treatment Room.
The Brookfield Retreat Granny Flat is a 2 bedroom self contained cabin
Granny Flat (Demountable)
As part of our 9 Bedroom offering, the Demountable is 72sq metres in size, and has two bedrooms and bathroom.
The Parents Retreat is adjacent to the Master Bedroom, with day bed / sofa. Brides often use this space for wedding prep and photography
Parents Retreat
The Parents Retreat is off the Master Bedroom and is often used as a Bridal Readiness Room. We love the full length Hollywood mirror and retro vibe.
The Master Bedroom En-suite with shower and toilet
Master Bedroom Ensuite
The Master Bedroom Ensuite forms part of the Master Bedroom wing, which is a wonderful space away from the rest of the house.
The indoor fireplace is perfect for the winter months. Don't forget to bring firewood or pre-order some before your stay.
Indoor Fireplace
In the winter months the log buring fireplace is wonderful. We have some firewood around the property, but you are welcome to bring your own too.
